Korean Foreign Doctoral Degree Reporting System
Under Article 27 of the Korean Higher Education Act, a person who has obtained a doctoral degree abroad registers that fact in the 'foreign doctoral degree reporting' system.
Its purpose is to understand how many Koreans hold doctoral degrees from foreign universities, and to make their dissertations publicly available, collecting baseline data for the use of national human resources and contributing academically to the next generation of researchers.
This system does not verify the authenticity of a degree.
USA OIKOS UNIVERSITY is a university registered for the foreign doctoral degree reporting system operated by the National Research Foundation of Korea, and recognised by the Foundation for that purpose.
